I look like 100 years old!

Hey guys,

Does anyone else look really old.  I started out morbidly obese but my skin on my face was smooth, oily and youthful looking.  As i lost weight everything was fine and I looked like myself except thinner.  Even when I got to my goal weight I felt my face was really thin but I did not look particularly old.  Now, since I have stopped losing weight, over the past 6 - 8 months, I have started to look very old.  My face is so wrinkly (like I am about 10 years older than I used to look).  It is not due to further weight loss.  If anything, I have gained about 5 lbs from my lowest weight.  My skin is also no longer oily but rather dry.  My hair is really dry as well.  I am wondering if there is something I can do to get some of the moisture back in my skin and if this would make me look younger again.  I do drink tons of water and I think I eat a lot of fat.  The only thing I can think of  is that  my blood pressure is low and my doctor says I should eat more salt, so maybe my water is just going through me?

I know this is not my imagination as I have been visiting my 78 year old father in the hospital recently and several people have asked if I was his wife.

Has anyone found a good solution to this problem?

Thanks if advance for your feedback

Challie

Are you taking all of your vitamins?  Those are SO important.  Do you take an omega 3 supp?  That helped me get the beautiful shine back in my hair, my skin is glowing and I haven't had a blemish in over a year (even during that time of year).  Also, use Vitamin E on your skin after you take a shower.

GOOD LUCK!

Thanks for the advice.  I was using an omega 3 supplement and then I stopped.  It was a few months later that I started looking really old so that may well be it.

I will start taking it again and wee what happens.

Thanks

Challie

If the omega 3 is oil based you aren't going to absorb it.  There are some omega 3s in emulsion formulas that may be absorbed better.

I have that old look but it is from a bad need for an extensive face lift.  I lost about 110 lbs and I look really old in the face.  I should just suck it up and get it done.

When you lose that plumpness to your face it becomes haggard looking.  I had a full facelift with Dr Sauceda 2 yrs ago.  I'm so happy I did it.  My eyes have opened up w/o the extra in the top eyelid and the puffy bottom.  I love my new neck.

I think I was 3 weeks out in the after pic:

Yes I can see you did get good results.  You look fresh and youthful.   I feel guilty about spending the money on plastics though.  I'll try to omega three and take it from there.

Thanks for posting your pics.

Hey Chris!  Can you Post a pic Of you face after the swelling has gone down?  Wow, your neck looks AMAZING!!!  Your face does too but I guess I am super curious :).   Like any fillers or is the plumpness just swelling?  Fantastic!!!

When I was at my lowest weight I was obsessed with getting PS and I am sure I will be again when I get down.  I wanted to desperately fill my laugh lines (what filler would you suggest for that - I looked young but those lines made me not recognize myself). which haha no longer exist as my face is full but thin I could not stand it.

Thanks
