Seven pounds up....YIKES!!!!!
I will be willing to bet it is water weight from the carbs or....is it that time of the month? It is easy to gain 7 pounds in water weight for me just off of something salty or near my period.
The bread and creon are your nemesis now...and we were all "warned" about bonce back which is why I decided to go as low as possible in the first year/18 months...and yeap. I've had bounce back already.

Southern Lady-
I guess the "Ol' DS just ain't what she used to be" (to the tune of Old Grey Mare - very old song).
Since my car is down for the moment, and I can't get to the gym right now, I'll be walking around my complex for exercise!
I need to keep taking the Creon with my vites, though. That's my insurance policy that I get everything absorbed that needs to be-and I get really depressed if my labs are bad. My last set, done right after Mom passed, were the worst I've ever had. Up until then, the only big issue I had was with calcium absorption. I lucked out and found calcium citrate in capsule form, so the calcium should be good to go now. I just wasn't absorbing the horse pills, and cutting/grinding them was a major pain in the butt.
I also have an estimated 15 pounds of loose skin and fat deposits on my thighs that I'm starting the removal process for this year. I beefed up my shake intake after a bout with PCM ( also an effect of Mom passing), so that I would be ready for surgery this year (there's been a six month delay thanks to my bad labs in the fall) I'm due for a new set of labs in April,(surgeon visit delayed due to yet another death in family) and that will hopefully give me the "thumbs up" to begin the skin removal process.
I'm being super vigilant about nutrients now, because I do not want to have any healing issues.
Thanks everyone for the wonderful support. There's really none locally, since everyone except two (me and another lady) in my local group are RNY.
