Food Cravings

I'm feigning for some ribs... I'm a former Muslim and normally don't eat pork but I want my baby backs lol. I did have some rib tips recently but I've never cared for rib tips. I only got them because they were nearly or zero carb and the only thing on Famous Dave's menu... Now I travel a lot and need to find a rib place that will leave the sauce off but cook it right. Nothing worse then improperly bbq'd ribs... In fact I'm thinking chicken shack for you Michigan folk that know about them. Just have to leave the sauce or apply it very sparingly. I'm gone get my ribs.

Love ribs!  lol  I make a North Carolina BBQ sauce that's low carb but I can eat ribs with just a rub as long as they are cooked to falling-off-the-bone tender.

Yeah, I love'em naked with just a rub. I really love them Carolina sauces... Don't have time to cook anything so gotta depend on a restaurant for my rib fix... Lol

Naked ribs are like plain potato chips or vanilla ice cream. They don't have anything to hide behind. So if it isn't spot on you'll know soon enough.

Outback has falling off the bone dry rub and will put the wet sauce on the side.  a $15 full slab with one side ( i get steamed broccoli) suits me for at least 5 meals. Off meats at this time still post op on full liquids. post ope 6 days and I think I am turning the corner!!

Just enjoy them!

Even if you get them dry (rubbed), the rub is filled with sugar and salt to properly carmelize on the ribs, but IMHO - the protein kick is totally worth it.

I normally don't do rubs either, just seasoning no sugar. My EWWW makes the best but no way I'm trying to get her to make me some. Thanks for the outback info.
