Other than the possible baby factor, I'm also curious if malabsorption for like 50 years is going to cause more issues than malabsorption for, say 30 years, especially calcium. I don't want brittle bones later. Surely it's possible to control with labs and a good vitamin regimen. Anywho, thanks again for sharing!
I was 43 when I had the DS 18 months ago. I have lost 165 lbs. I feel like Wonder Woman! I have regained a life. I wish I'd done it earlier. It took me 3 years to decide to have the DS. I am active all the time. I can't sit still. I feel so good. I have an 8 year old daughter. I love the fact that I can play soccer with her. I can go on rides at our local county fair with her. It is the little things that make it so great. I am doing so well, I know I'll be here in my late 80's and still rockin'!
