Constipation
One day poo (hard, then little more liquid, not much though then poo a couple hours later a little more runny)
Then next day nothing
Next day I basically sit on the toilet in the morning making myself.
Then the cycle returns
I though I was suppose to be running to the toilet at least 3-4 times a day???
Is it because I am really not eating normally. Should I start. The crazy diet tech is no help.
I usually have one giant poo every day. Some do 2 or 3 times. Most are done in the morning, though. It may have to do with what you're eating. Are you on any pain meds? They cause constipation, too. Milk of Magnesia helps.

Beans soups and chili are a good choice for you very early out. But be advised, they are nearly pure carbs and not a great protein source. You will need to get into the habit of checking nutrition facts to see what contains carbohydrates. They will slow down your weight loss and eventually allow you to gain. Hope your body gets into the swing of things soon. I found it took months after surgery for my digestive system to fall into a rhythm.
Right now, a stool softener...and PLENTY of fluids.
Once you get further out, added fat helps.
But what you do NOT want to do is strain to go...

Strain hard enough and you can cause things like hemorrhoids, fissures, and tears...and hernias!
Not so much the DS itself but why make your lower colon angry when your upper colon is already mad at you for cutting it apart?
