100 Pounds Gone
I can officially now claim 100 pounds gone - finally. I had a few weeks of really rapid weight loss - pretty much 70 pounds gone in no time flat. The rest is taking its sweet time. But 100 pounds in 19 weeks is pretty remarkable. Do I wi**** was more? Of course I do!!! And I'm a little concerned that this is supposed to be my magical, rapid weight loss and I seem to be struggling already. I play with the same 5 pounds for quite a while before my body wants to let it go. But, it is what it is, and I'm grateful for the changes 100 pounds has already brought me. No one claimed it would be easy - but just worth it!
I am rewarding myself by getting myself a tattoo. Not that I've always dreamed of having one, but I figured it would be a good reminder. Just a little puppy paw print on my shoulder for each 100 pounds. I figured I'd better do it on some spot that isn't going to need to be nipped and tucked and cut into oblivion once I get to that point.
Thanks to everyone here - it helps that you put yourselves out there. I'm more of a lurker than a joiner, but it's awesome to have this place to come so I can see that my struggles, fears, concerns, and crazy thoughts are just like everyone else's.
