Calories - 1,559, Carbs - 60, Fat - 95, Protein - 114

And the sodium comes in at (hold your hats) - 4,023.  I'll eventually be thinner, but I'll be pickled with all the salt!!!  Bacon, cheese and the hot dogs are the biggest culprits.  There's a lot to be said for not eating processed foods!!!

Bites:
B - Protein coffee (21g, 9c)
S - eggs, bacon, cheese (46g, 5c)
L - Imitation crab (5g, 16c) Obviously not a great choice, but I'm gonna fini**** up I guess
S - Cottage cheese, sunflower seeds (18g, 9c)
D - Hot dogs with cheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeese (24g, 8c)

I think I'm the only DSer that doesn't like bacon!!  I'll eat it if I'm served it, eg if a burger comes with bacon coz I hate to waste good protein!! ;-)

I'm actually getting a little sick of bacon - and all meat in general.  Who'da thunk it?  I loooooooooooooooooved bacon before - could have eaten pounds of it.  Now, not so much.

Do you think you could share your peanut butter cookie recipe with me?  I'm sure you've posted it a zillion times.  Admittedly, I know I could go back and probably find it - and if it's a lot of trouble just let me know and I'll go do just that :)  I'm always complaining about people at work who don't take time to do things themselves and would just rather ask - and now I'm apparently one of them!!!

Here you go I just added it to my profile in the about me section too (will help if anyone else asks) as I often reply from a phone and have to wait 'til I'm on a PC to do sophisticated copy and pasting stuff!! :-D

 FLOURLESS PB COOKIES

2-3 eggs (depending on size - you want the mixture to be squishy not dry)
1 teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda (baking soda in the US)
2 & a bit tablespoons of almond meal/flour
6 teaspons of Splenda
1 cup peanut butter
a dash of cinnamon

Mix together then wet your hands and roll them into balls & put on a cookie tray & put into oven at 160°C/320°F for 10 mins.

I also made a lazy version of ricotta fluff - ie just ricotta with Splenda as I can't get hold of jello made with Splenda (I get gas with other sweeteners).  I'm going to try it with heavy cream and cinnamon next time.  Val has a few recipes here http://www.obesityhelp.com/member/valgroce/

The PB cookies she posts are very similar to mine.  I'm gonna try her custard soon too.  Enjoy!! :-D  Please feel free to share any good recipes you have too  - nothing too complex mind you!! ;-)

Hi Im a new DSer I had my surgery on 3/4/13 my dr just switched me to puree yesterday so its new for me.  I love coffee and i am curious how  you make your coffee to get (60g) in im still trying to get as much protien as possible of course any advise will be super helpful. Thanks in adavance!

I know for me, I can get 29g of protein per coffee if I use a scoop of Unjury (either vanilla, chocolate or unflavored), 8 oz of milk and 8 oz of coffee.  Others will use 4 oz half and half or 4 oz of cream diluted with 4 oz of water, then the 8 oz of coffee mixed with their protein supplement.

Unjury has 21 g of protein, and the milk has 8 - so voila, 29 grams per coffee.  If you double scoop the protein powder or drink two of the coffees, then you'll have close to the 60 grams.  Of course, as a new DSer, it might be hard to get in that much liquid.  I know I struggled.  Starting out, I only did the Unjury with 8 oz of milk - still 29g.  Now I drink like a fishy

I drink 2 protein coffees to get 60 grams every morning but I'm up at 4AM and don't have to be at wor****il 7AM.

I use Syntrax Nectar vanilla protein + 3oz of heavy whipping cream + 3 oz of cold water + a dash of cinnamon + an packet of Truvia. Shake in a blender bottle with wire ball for about 4 seconds.  Pour in hot brewed coffee or chai tea. You want to keep your protein below 160 degrees...around 130 degrees is safe. Pour the hot fluid over top of the cool protein to keep it from cooking and clumping.

Yum!
