Yep, we had snow in the morning but most got washed away by late afternoon. Slippery for sure. I hope you're ok.

Nice Bites. Your Chinese lunch sounds great!

I had another good day today (ie low carb).  My protein wasn't as high as yesterday, but I'm not hungry any more today.  So, unless I am hungry before I go to bed, this will be it for today...I had 15 carbs and 87 protein.  (Yesterday I ate another Atkins bar before bed...I think ideally I would like to limit my Atkins bars to one a day.)  Also, I plan on actually cooking tomorrow and not eating so many prepared foods.

One thing that I DO need to work on is drinking more water...I only had a few glasses of water today.

Here is my MFP menu from today:

Very awesome!  I know what you mean about the protein bars. Maybe they still affect the way our insulin reacts.

Good evening,

B: protein shake 2 strawberries

S: nuts

L: spagetti squach and hamburger with cheese all mixed together

S: protein bar Atkins

D: tenderloin and broccoli with cheese

S: protein shake

Did have a feed of chips and dip with diet pepsi while playing scrabble with hubby. It is my Friday today for me and I am off for the next two days, I work shift work. (for now)

I very soon want to get started at losing some weight I have been eating better in the last 6 months then I have in 7 years with this surgery, because of this site. I think my meds have a lot to do with why I sit at this weight, or why it is so hard to lose,  but I would like to try to continue with eating like this and getting back into exercising, to see if I can make a change weight wise.

Susan

Nov. 14/2005 I have reached the 10 year mark and I am very glad I had this surgery and can live a normal life.

Good job. What  I've found is that it take longer for our bodies to let us start losing once we're further out post-op. I've been low carbing too and had to cut out my JayRobb protein bars and peanuts to see results. Macadamia nuts seem to be fine but I go way overboard with peanuts.
