Good morning,

B: protein shake with 2 strawberries

S: nuts

L: turkey with a little cranberry sauce

S: yogurt and berries

D: whatever hubby cooks I will eat

S: shake protein

Nov. 14/2005 I have reached the 10 year mark and I am very glad I had this surgery and can live a normal life.

Big munchie day today, but I kept it nearly all protein (except for some jelly).  Didn't get the full English breakfast today but McD's was OK.

You did great! 172 protein grams isn't shabby at all. 

Communing not needed after all. My guys went out and had a big lunch, so they get to fend for themselves tonight. I think I'll have chili and sour cream.

I finally made the cream cheese pancakes and they are DELISH!  I made mine savory instead of sweet, adding chives.  I'm so glad I tried them.

2-3 oz cream cheese (cuz measuring is just so not me)

2 eggs

sprinkle of salt

couple tablespoons of snipped chives

As I was eating them I thought if I had spread them out a little thinner they would have made awesome crepes, which I could fill with chicken or shrimp or something protein-y, roll them up, and top them with a hollandaise or white sauce or even cheese.

Sounds yum, especially with Hollandaise and something proteiny. I'm going to look into getting Hollandaise as I've not had that post DS.

I haven't started posting here yet but I always read what everyone else posts. It's so helpful! I just wanted to say thanks for including calories, net carbs, protein and fat today. That was very helpful too! I know counting calories won't be as important but it's nice to be able to compare what I eat now (pre-op) versus post-op. You actually ate more calories than me today! And I still can't lose enough. Can't wait for the DS!
