On the road all day today, so no idea what we might do for lunch if we slow down to eat.

Good morning again - it's going to be 60 degrees today.  That's INCREDIBLE!

Today's plan:

BITES: (DS Maintenance Mode)
B - protein coffee                                               21g, 5 carb
S - bacon/pork sausages and cheese               32g, 2 carb
S - protein coffee                                               21g, 5 carb
L - cottage cheese, sunflower seeds, turkey slice         23g, 13 carb
D - hot dogs, cheese                                         24g, 8 carb
S - Protein chai                                                  10g, 4 carb

131 protein, 37 carb, 105 fat - and holy schnikeys sausages and hot dogs have a lot of sodium!!  I think I need to rethink some of my choices!!

 

VITES:
Sho enuf!!!

EXERCITES:
mostly jumping to conclusions, and making mountains out of molehills - but tomorrow is gym day, laundry and errands

I hope your day works out.  Hungry day today (didn't have much heavy cream as what I had in the office was slightly past its best).  I have fresher stuff at home though

HAPPY FRIDAY EVERYONE!

**BITES**

Meal 1- 4 egg whites, broccoli

Meal 2- Protein Shake with Almond Milk

Meal 3-  2 oz. Tilapia, squash

Meal 4 (post workout) - The rest of the tilapia from lunch

Meal 5- Baked Whitefish and avocado slices with lime juice

 

**VITES**

TOOK ALL OF THEM!  Just ordered the new Iron (Thanks MajorMom for the iron suggestion!) I'm thinking of stopping the Flaxseed...there really doesn't seem to be a need for it since I am getting my EFA's from the Omega-3 FIsh oil I take. 

 

**Exercites**

AM Circuit- 50 Jumping Jacks, 20 Burpees, 20 Mountain Climbers, 20 Push ups, 25 Weighted sit ups, 50 Supermans (I do this 3 times first thing in the morning on an empty stomach)

PM Lift 3pm- LEG DAY!  Hour heavy lift for legs, calves and glutes

I might do one more cardio session before bed

 

Side note-  For the past two days my lower legs/ankles/feet are retaining a lot of water and I'm not sure why.  I don't use salt in my foods I use Mrs. Dash.  I drink 1-1.5 gallons of water a day...maybe this is too much?  Could it be possible I'm flushing out the potassium and sodium in my system? I was going to see if it lasted until Monday and possibly call my Doctor about it.

Dang! You are blowing up the Exercites!!  I'm not sure what might cause your ankles to swell. I usually hear protein issues but you seem to be getting enough. Perhaps add another couple of shakes since you're working out so much. Get some labs to see what might be going on electrolyte wise. Maybe you hit it right on thinking potassium and sodium, etc.

good evening,

day started good then it went downhill.

B: shake with 2 strawberries

S: nuts

L: whole wheat spag, and meat sauce( not a lot)

S: yogurt and blueberries

D: 2 sausages, cream cheese pancakes and one egg

S: 2 pieces birthday cake one with ice cream/ one without

and before bed one chocolate bar - bad day at work, decided to give notice. So comfort still sometimes comes from food.

Total protein day tomorrow and back on track

Nov. 14/2005 I have reached the 10 year mark and I am very glad I had this surgery and can live a normal life.
