Thanks for the info. Where do you get these? Are they small? I hate big pills and really hate chewables.

The biggest are about the size of paracetamol.  I'd start with Vitalady that you can get here https://vitalady.com/vitanews/pre-packaged-regimens/

Lowish BMI? See Lightweights Board! Lightweight Creed For more on DS see www.DSfacts.com

I don't know your particular needs but from what people have posted on the boards about Dr. Stewart, I don't think he would do the surgery if he didn't think it was a good option for you.  I can't tell you what to do but I can tell you that for me it was all or nothing as I had 170 pounds to loose and didn't think the sleeve would be enough to get me there and more importantly to help me maintain that weight once I got there....

Good luck and I will pray that you receive clarity to allow you to make the best decision for yourself.

Thank you for the prayers. I do not "think" Dr. Stewart  would suggest DS either if not good for me. The truth is he didn't push me toward DS. At my one & only consult with him and his assistant, Trevor, I did not spend nearly enough time finding out which they "really" thought was best for me. I just heard "greatest amount lost and kept off with DS" from him and my first encounters on OH. I then connected to a local DS Facebook group, who are, of course, VERY pro-DS. I totally trust what Dr. Stewart's skills and integrity as a surgeon. I don't worry about that at all. Again...thx for your response.

The DS will give you the best chance to lose all the weight and keep it off.  The sleeve alone is just another diet.

I have to disagree and I think others would too...The sleeve is not just another diet..  We're all on diets....just different ones.  We have to decide which diet we'd prefer to be on:)

Thanks so much for your input and willingness to take time to respond to my post.

Since, strictly speaking, whatever you eat is your personal "diet", I suppose we are all "on a diet"---but when I decided to have WLS, I also decided that I was FINISHED dieting. 35 years of counting calories was ENOUGH, and I just don't do that any more. Since my DS 9 years ago, I'm on the "eat I damned well please" diet. (*grin*)

I'll address our age comment......no you're not too old. I had my revision to a DS when I was 62. Since then I've felt oh so much younger and better!!
