I have my first appt with Dr Stewart on tuesday. I already got all my records sent over to them and apparently insurance is just switching the surgeon from Barker to Stewart. Sounds to good to be true but we shall see.

Wish me luck guys.

Oh btw I had my blood work come in that Barker ordered last week adn everything besides cholesteral and sugar levels were good. But what concerned me was my vitamin D was low it was 14.1. What would you guys recommend I take to get that up so i am not starting out deficient for my surgery? How long does it take to get that up?

Also I understand from reading like a mad man over the past week or so since i found this website that the vitamins my old dietician told me to take arent going to be enough. Would it be ok to take those until I can start taking pills or should i just scratch them and start barriatric advantage chewables?

for a refresh i have 2 tubs of:

Congrats!

I wonder why they did not just switch surgeons for me rather than make me resubmit!

I am guessing it is because i have Aetna. Maybe they dont require the same thing as yours.

Yes, start taking some D/vites/calcium now.  I would use up what I had and then replace as it runs out.
