Yep I was down 2.5lb from yesterday's scary number.  Nothing radical has changed in my diet... go figure!! :-S

I had two iron infusions last spring and it was so easy and convient. I was there about an hour and my insurance covered all but my copayment. Probably will need another round the end of this year.

I'm on day 65 of having my protein shake within 30 minutes of waking. It's made an amazing difference in how I feel and how my body is reshaping itself. My weight is still fluctuating but nothing abnormal.

B: Coffee Protein Shake (coffee concentrate, half a cup of cream, ice, water, and two scoops of protein (48 grams))

L: Beef taco, 8 tator tots, churro (treat for the day)

S: two cheese sticks

D: beef stew

It's only 10 am, no idea what else I'll have today. :)

 

I'm revising my vitamin schedule. I've got to figure out a way to get all my calcium in and keep it separate from things like iron/zinc. If the pills aren't in my container I can't consistently remember to take them. I'm trying to limit my intake to 4 doses a day as well.

I'm glad the protein shake first thing in the morning is working for you. 

I hear you about the vitamins. I'm popping those suckers all day long.

I keep my calcium in the bathroom and take it at night when I use the bathroom and very first thing when I get up.  By the time I've showered and go to work and done a few bits 2 hours have flown and I'm having my first full batch with breakfast.  I do 3 batches of calcium with my main vites at breakfast, lunch and dinner and then 3 during the night (yep I get up a lot), iron at bedtime and 2 separate zinc batches.  That's a total of 9 batches a day!!

I'm one of those that sleeps soundly through the night. I don't wake up at all. Once I'm asleep I'm out until my alarm goes off or I've had enough sleep. I wake up, within 30 minutes I've got my protein shake started down the hatch. My calcium is in 4 doses through the day with my other vitamins. My zinc and iron are separated and they are the tricky bits. I'm getting good at the zinc in between my breakfast/lunch but the iron is still problematic. I'm not stressed about the supplemental iron right now as I recently had an infusion. I don't seem to do well on oral iron. But, I hold out hope if I can get it all scheduled right and where it's not conflicting with anything I might be able to make it work.

Had a follow up consult today.  All's good and I'm likely to be allowed iron infusions and vit D shots by my surgiversary this summer. They want them to drop a bit lower as the NHS doesn't believe in prevention - it's not my consultant's fault - those are the rules he has to go by, but he's doing his best to get me them sooner rather than later.  I think they like you to be symptomatic to get them!!

I'm off to Egypt in a couple of weeks so I'll definitely get some vitamin D then!! :-D

Hi Gina,
The week was good but busy....until today. I got furious about the lack of communication. Keep telling myself only one and a half years more.
Needless to say had a bad eating day. It's hard when it's very early breakfast and very late lunch.
Oh, we'll its the weekend.

L: (late) half sandwich with turkey, mozerella and avavcado
D: brok's pizza, wine

Can't wait to open the pool!!!!!!!!
