I am so happy for you and how great your progress is! I read a good chunk of your blog that you shared in a response to someone else's post. You have done great! Isn't it wonderful not worrying about the fat content and making sure everything is always lowfat or FF?! Sometimes that extra teaspoon of mayo or butter on something makes all the difference in the world as far as taste/texture and satisfaction! Great job!

You are looking great. I had my DS on 11/26/12 and have not lost much weight. Tell me what you are doing , my surgeon tells me to eat a regular diet but i am beginning to think he's not leading me in the right direction because i am not losing plus i go to the bathroom after everything i eat. What do you eat? Please help. Any info will be helpful. Thanks.......Sherri

My surgeon suggested a vegetarian diet... But I'm no spring chicken to successful WLS eating. High protein, low carb, lots of water. My goals for the day are 100g of protein, 100g of fat, less than 40g of carbs, about 1200 calories a day. I also incorporate a few servings of veggies and fruit (only a few times a week for the fruit). I try to get at least 100oz of water a day. I eat eggs or greek yogurt for breakfast. Lunch is normally a salad with a 6.4oz pack of tuna and thousand island dressing - or something similar. Dinner is baked chicken or fish and a veggie. Snacks consist of cheese, jerky, slices of deli lunch meat... I'm gluten intolerant so i try to avoid anything containing gluten. This helps me keep away from all those bad carbs. I also get about 30 mins of cardio a day. Hope this helps!!!
