RNY to DS Revision Surgeons- East Coast??

Hello- I was hoping someone can recommend an East Coast Surgeon to do an RNY to DS revision? I've talked to Dr. K in California, but I'd like to stay closer to PA.

I believe Roslin or Greenbaum do revisions.

Hi I'm in PA too the 2 big ones on the east coast are roslin and greenbaum . Greenbaum only does the revision open. I'm out side Philly and looking to get the same done. Would be great to stay in contact and help each other with info and the like. Let me know.

For both of you, keep in mind that Dr. Greenbaum is very selective about RNY to DS revisions and sometimes (often) recommends ERNY instead. Your best East Coast bet is still Dr. Roslin.

Thanks for the info! I had a doc in Pittsburgh offer the ERNY and one suggested Band over bypass... I didn't care for either of those options!

 

I just want to give you this list.............. And, I also want to say Dr. Roslin is VERY picky, I have seen an RNY to DS revision denied by him, but the lady that he declined picked herself up, dusted herself off, and had her revision done by Dr. Keshishian.  She lives on the east coast, and flew to the west coast.  Just something I witnessed on this board and the revisions board.

**Disclaimer..... Gagner has had some problems with questionable billing practices & Greenbaum has had some problems~like recent patients not getting a true DS [receiving an ERNY/Distal RNY instead].

Isn't it crazy how old the kids have gotten?!?! I need to change my tickers! My Daughter just turned 3 and my son will be 5 in April!!

 

Thank you so much for all the information!! My number one choice would be Dr. Keshishian, when I inquired 2 years ago he called me at home like 20 minutes later and talked to me on the phone for a half hour about my experience. What a terrific guy!

Roslin, I am a revision pt also, he took me when others wouldn't, due to permanent damage....I had to fly out to Lennox Hill, would do it again......
