I get the venofer infusions as well. It is very common to actually get them in a series....I had one every week for five weeks. How often you go back will vary from person to person (and pre or post menopausal seems to make a difference). I will go back for a check up after 6 months to see how my levels look. I dont know what my cycle of infusions will be yet.

Search DS and iron infusions and you will find a wealth of information as to what other DSers are doing for infusions (types and frequencies).
