Happy Sunday.

I traveled for one night on Friday night and something I ate gave me gas.  I was pissed because I ate clean.  I had a salad tho...I am sure that was the culprit.  It was a "protein salad" with just a few greens and ham, cheese, bacon and ranch.  So I don't know.

I am traveling a ton for the next month.  I need to share a room for finances but if I am going to have gas I can't do it.  I think I will try fish zole and see if that helps.  I just can't take my usual diet on the road.  I try to eat what I know I can eat..steaks, burgers with no buns, etc... I take little yogurts that I used to eat too many of (carbs) and cheese and popcorn...so I try to stay as close to my normal diet as I can.

Sunday:

"French toast"

Atkins bar

Greek yogurt (with carbs but it was soooo good

Grilled burgers with cheese

More yogurt (without carbs)

Popcorn

Maybe some bacon

I've run out of eggs because last trip to the store I left them.  I will pick some up tomorrow.  I hate not having eggs!!!

Becky, you sound like you're doing great.  Being away on business must be difficult.  Just not being able to graze is a pain in the butt for me!! ;-)

Oh it isn't business it is a hobby.  I train and show in competitive obedience with a little 4 year old Border Collie.  I am doing much better than I used to do travelling I'll have to admit and give myself credit.  I used to eat carbs like crazy when I was out of town.  I guess I thought that if I wasn't at home they didn't count lol.

I walked Friday and today so at least there is that.  I walk 1.4 miles when I walk so I feel good about that.  This next week I am out of town all day Tuesday, and Thursday thru Saturday so I am going to miss some walking.

The fish zole might help. Worth a shot. Your Bites sound good. Hang in there. I'm glad you're getting out. Will you be taking the dogs to competitions?

Currently I am travelling to training matches.  They are run like a show so you and the dog get the feel of a show but you can train in the ring.  Hoping to be ready to start showing again in a few months.  We are working on the last of the advanced skills and they just take a long time to train especially for a 4 year old dog.  Now I know I could have taught her the advanced skills when she was a puppy!!  Live and learn.

I'm not sure I want Spring to get here. They are saying the federal budget crap will start hitting the fan about then. I don't have a warm fuzzy about this. Trying to stay busy to keep my mind occupied.

Very nice Bites today. Great looking protein today too.
