Getting ready for surgery in the next three weeks and the nutritionist gave me samples of EVERYTHING! (I love my practice!). I fell in love with the Lemon Calcet Creamy Bites.  Appearently, this Lemon treat is a favorite of everyone.  I am searching online and every place that has them is "sold out" or on back order.  Anyone care to share their Lemon Creamy Bite "hookup" and let me know where I can get my hands on some?

They look delish but it would be really expensive to take these.  You would need 4 a day to get the minimum of 2000.  See if you can find someone who will sell by the case...

I looked up your doc and it looks like he is with Dennis Smith.  Has your doc done many DS surgeries?

Yes, Dr. Smith is well versed is the DS as well as a pioneer, in addition, Dr. Smith was the third surgeon in the world to perform the totally Laparoscopic Duodenal Switch procedure, and the first in the world to present the Hand-Sewn Duodenal-Ileal Anastomosis technique for the Duodenal Switch.  Additionally, my Dr. (Jean-Pierre,) is the the only other surgeon in the practice,  So I am very confident is their abilities.

According to my individual nutrition consultation with the practice  we are starting with 1500mg daily.  I know they might be expensive, but I understood coming into pre-op counseling that supplements and aftercare would be an additional expense.  I like the taste and consistency so I think the creamy bites will work for me.  I appreciate the feedback though

Dr. Smith was doing a lot of DS's several years ago.  I don't see as many getting them from him, but he's awesome.  I have a friend who had hers with him and she'll sing his praises any time.

Bariatric Advantage makes a lemon calcium citrate chew, but it is a little more sour than the Calcet brand.

I heard a couple months ago from someone on another site that they were backordered until Feb or March.

I fell in love with Calcet's Lemon Creamy Bite and I can't find them anywhere now, either. I wish there were a way to find out when/if they'll be in stock again.
