When you talk to him next whatever he says tell him you want to keep your pyloric valve and do not want to dump. See what he says to that and that might help you decide. If he says, no big deal you can live that, he's probably not the one for you because he's never lived with dumping, reactive hypoglycemia,and anemia due to lack of iron absorption.

He's an excellent surgeon but does not do DS. I have actually heard him speak where he mentioned the DS being very dangerous and rarely done.

You might be better served going down to Dr. Stewart.

Actually he does do the DS now.  He started doing that procedure in December. It's on his website Weight Loss Center  of Oklahoma.  If he is not sure he will do the DS, because of one reason or the other.  I will definitely go to Dr. Stewart.  Thanks for chiming in teachmid.
