Everything taste funny to me right now. I am two weeks out. Can we use sugar free mints?

You can, however too much of the artificial sweeteners can cause bloating, gas and diarrhea.  Drinking plenty of fluids will flush out the ketones and this will help too.

I wouldn't use SF due to the sugar alcohols in them. I used Altoids peppermints in small quantities and did just fine.

A couple mints are almost a carb freebie.  Tic-tacs and Altoids are good too.  Read the labels and consume accordingly.  As long as we are only talking a couple every day...no big deal.  I actually like the SF ones and I would suggest you try some and see.  SF is always better.  If you like them and they don't bother you, great!

The funny taste thing is normal and it's from Ketosis.  That means you are burning fat...a good thing.

Right now you are still healing and learning how to eat and drink.  Don't be overly concerned with carbs till you are healed and KNOW you are staying hydrated and can eat without problems.
