Got my labs back - all in normal range(!!).  I was told to cut back on B12 even though that's at 1500.  Don, Vitaguy said 1500 - 2000 is fine so I'm carrying on as is!!  Zinc and vitamin A are missing (they messed up the vitamin A by not protecting it).

My ferritin's dropped so I think I need to add a couple of tablets of tender iron.  I'll phone my PCP to chase where the zinc is.

My labs are here https://dl.dropbox.com/u/33417203/Lab_Tracking.xls but I'll get a proper scan of them tomorrow and do a proper separate post with those as some of the numbers look weird.

B Creamcheese pancakes w PB&J & heavy cream 35
S Cheese - lots!! 30
L Thai green chicken curry 34
S Fromage frais 12
D Chili w cheese 35

Protein: 146
F 72+
V nighttime iron, copper & vit C pending

Congrats on your labs!

Have you considered iron infusions?

You can't them here until you're deficient over here (and that's deficient for a normy not a DSer).  I may end up having to have them, but I'll do my best to avoid them as I don't want to get run down without giving oral iron a serious try.

Congratulations on your labs.  : )   You're fine on your B12. Keep doing what you're doing. How much iron are you taking before you add a little more?

140mg/5ml of liquid ferrous furmarate so that if I understand correctly is 280mg as I take 10ml.  I added on Vitalady tender iron last night which is 60mg for a total of 340mg.  I'm taking vitamin C with it (250mg) and 2mg copper too.  I wait 2 hours from my last batch of vites and 1 hour from having anything with dairy, eggs or nuts (not sure if I really need to avoid nuts, but someone said you should).

I've also noticed my vitamin D as well as the zinc are missing (in addition to the A that my PCP mentioned got messed up).  I can't believe he said everything's fine - glad I got the report!!

Early report because I probably won't be back today.  Going out of town for the weekend.

French toast

Popcorn

Atkins Bar

Planned: Atkins frozen dinner

Had some grilled tilapia instead and some of my new favorite dessert: egg/cheese bread with splenda, butter and cinnamon.
