Just got an order from VitaLady and she sent samples of  Coromega omega 3+D.  For "normies" it says take one a day but I don't know if we absorb all of it.  Her price is $17.99 for 30 and 28.99 for 90.  She sent the tropical orange and it is really yummy.

I used those when they first came out several years ago.  They are yummy!  I hadn't thought about them for now after surgery.  I just doubled up on my fish oil.  I can tell a difference since I started taking it again.  My eyes are not as dry!

Here is the Vitacost price for 90

I think you would have to drown in fish oil to absorb much.  Remember that the best educated guess is that you may absorb 20% of what you take.  So you would have to take 5 times what a normie takes.

The deal with the Coromega is that we are supposed to absorb a lot more of it.  But I don't take either one so I'm just sharing what I've learned.  No real personal experience.

Yes, I realize that.  I'm taking 4000 mg a day.  Prior to Surgery, I took 2000mg a day.  As soon as I finish all I've got, I'm switching to the liquid.

Becky,  you should take these... We still need this to keep our hearts in good shape!  It affects our glands, skin, hair & nails etc.

Have a good night ... Hope you are having a better day!

I've just been advised by the vets for so long that we don't absorb it that I have never taken it.  I will ask my gurus (Michelle and Gina) and see what they think.  I think Gina takes the Coromega but I just can't afford that.  I don't know about the liquid but can only imagine that it is gross!!!  Thanks for the note.

Becky, even most Walmarts carry the Coromega, and there it may be a lot cheaper. At least it's some place else to check.

I'll check the price if they have them at my Walmarts.  I wonder if high end grocery stores carry it?  I guess this isn't something that you can check via labs.  I am just financially maxed out right now.  I'll try to add them to my next budget.

Where do you buy the Atkins meals you talk about?

Walmart.  They make about a dozen and Walmart has been slowly adding different ones.  The quality control seems bad, as I have had some bad ones (chewy chicken yuck) but more have been good than bad.  I know such processed food is bad for me but sometimes (okay, well often) I need something easy. I don't really cook much other than simple no/low carb stuff.

Vectomega is also a good possibility because it is not an oil based capsule.  That brand is harder to find in stores so you'd probably have to order it online ... plus another one that isn't cheap.
