Well i made it this far..   im two months out today and i feel great!   The weight is coming off slowly but surely..  i have lost 44lbs now.. i know it would be a little slower process b/c im a ex-bander..   but hey..  this is not a race and im just going to keep on keeping on!

I can pretty much eat anything i want within reason.  i limit my carbs to around 50 a day.. make sure i get my protein/vites and now even excersise!  it feels amazing to be back at the gym and remembering how awesome it was to know i burned 700 calories at the gym on a sat morning instead of plowing through a dozen donuts!!

I know i still have a long ways to go but almost being 1/4 of the way there in just 2 months makes me hopeful that THIS TIME i might just make it!!

God Bless!

Great, I thinks so too. 44Ibs in 2 months is not a laughing matter.

It is not us my dear, it is yourself!  The DS will not let you down, just learn to work it.  Absorb information like never before, listen to your body.  Be aware!

I don't think 44lbs is slow at all!  I'm just a week behind you and I'm down about 33lbs since surgery and I've been pretty happy with my pace.  So you are doing awesome as a revision!

Congrats :)

Fantastic!  We're at almost the same amount of time out from surgery; I'm losing slower than I hoped, but as you said we'll take what we get!!  Congrats!

Another ex-bander here Lucy!  You are doing terrific -- 44 lbs is nothing to sneeze at.  Bet that's more than you lost in 2 months with lap band, eh?  And this surgery will work!
