B- hardboiled egg
L- about 1/2 cup of split pea and ham soup, small glass of milk
S- Chobani bite raspberry with dark chocolate greek yogurt **
D- BBQ chicken
S- protein hot chocolate made with 2% milk (25g)
**I tried this yogurt after hearing people talk about them. They are a bit carb heavy (13g), but have 8g of protein in a 3.5oz cup. They are still a bit tangy for my taste, but it sastified my sweet tooth while getting in some protein :)
Enjoy your chinese. I would love some general tso's chicken and a crab rangoon. Mmmmm!

I may have mentioned that my appetite has returned. Now I'm freaking out about gaining weight. Do you think if I stay low carb I can avoid a regain?
I am getting plenty of protein and almost no carbs. Today's carbs will come from flourless PB cookies and one Atkins bar. I may eat an Atkins frozen dinner but they are really low carb.
I am glad I am able to eat again but I don't want to gain back the weight I lost while I was fasting.

I was just thinking today that I should fast for a few days to see if I can lose about 8 pounds but I know I need to walk at least 4 times a day too. I'm not sure there is a way to do this by low carbing without exercise to keep our metabolisms going. I think we have to keep doing both--low carb and light exercise throughout the day.

I measured my daily walk today. It is 1.4 miles. But I only do it once a day. Of course there is dog training which is totally active and today I did 90 minutes. So I think I am getting enough exercise. I don't know what to do, but I have to eat. I have lost that "can't eat" feeling and have an appetite. I would like to loose those last darned 5 lbs but I am not optimistic.
I am going to dog train 7 days a week most weeks so maybe that along with the walk will help. Of course when it is raining I can't walk the dogs but I own a treadmill and I am going to set it up tonight and see if it still works.
Those last lbs just do not want to leave, do they?
~Becky
You're doing a lot more than I am. I must get back to my walking.
