what is protein coffee
Use zero carb protein powder, cream or almond milk or water. Add instant coffee to it and shake in a blender bottle. Adding sf syrups to sweeten.
Or brew coffee, let cool, add zero carb protein powder to warm coffee, shake in blender bottle. Add sf syrups to sweeten.
I make a slurry of vanilla protein powder (Syntrax Nectar), a dash of cinnamon, a packet of Truvia, 4-6oz of 1/2 & 1/2 or cream and water, then pour 8-10oz of hot brewed coffee over top. You can also use hot brewed chai tea (not the boxed mixes, regular chai tea from tea bags). You want to pour the hot liquid into a slurry of protein to keep the protein from getting too hot.

I cold-brew coffee (using a Toddy system) so I always have coffee concentrate in the refrigerator. I then use that for my protein shakes. I use a few oz of the concentrate, cream, water, ice and then two scoops of protein and it makes this amazing latte-like protein drink. You can make it hot if you heat the concentrate/water up first and then add everything in.
I like the concentrate because it's a very rich dark flavor and no****ered down. It also means I have no excuses not to make my drinks since I don't have to worry about making a cup of coffee (not that it's hard, I have a Kuerig for that!) :)
