IT'S SO POWERFUL

The DS Surgery is so powerful, even for somebody like me who never losses weight, is losing with this Surgery. How come most obese people don't know about this weight loss Surgery?

Because it's so powerful and doctors are afraid of it. Sad, isn't it?  Then there are the greedy ones that want a quick buck and the heck with the patient.

So true MajorMom, I am so glad I revised to the DS.

Like almost everything it is all about the almighty dollar.  If I had known about this surgery 10 or 15 years before I got it I would have 10 or 15 healthy years.  All I knew was the RnY and band I knew those would not work for me.

I feel so lucky and grateful for this forum where I first learned of the DS.

Could not have agreed more. This surgery is a miracle

I have a good friend at work who decided to have WLS and I spent a lot of time telling her about DS, but she decided to go for RNY and won't ask her surgeon about the DS.  I want to win the lottery and pay for this surgery for everyone without insurance!

It's so sad, what is preventing her? money or her Doctor

I was ready to have the RNY .  Went to my surgeon today and they informed me my insurance will be covering DS as of March 1st ! I'm super excited !

096....You hit the description right on the head....POWERFUL....Thats the word I think of too....I know I am going to love my DS....I'm only 2 weeks in...but have gotten over a number I am always stuck on at the scale....
