Revisiting Old Surgeries

Was idly scratching an itch on my side and realized it's a scar from my old (1997) gall bladder surgery.  Now that my tummy skin isn't stretched as tight they are popping out a little.  The big zipper scar from open spleen surgery (1989) sticks out more now too.  C-Section scar is hidden under the "apron" belly so it will be a long time before I confront that one!

And yes, Dr Kim had a LOT of scar tissue to navigate around to do my DS!  

I don't envy our DS surgeons' having to navigate around in our bellies.  lol
