What to have for my liquid diet?

I need ideas about what I can have for my liquid diet. I start tomorrow. My Surgery is on Thursday.

Muscle Milk Light

Crystal Light

Vitamin Water Zero 

Soup broth

sugar free jello

 

Live off of that for 3 weeks post op lol.

mharroun is right on the money with the immediate post op diet.

If you are in a multidisciplinary program, you should soon get a notebook/binder with instructions on what to eat through the entire first year, or at least the first eight weeks post-op.

They did give me ideas. They gave me a list,  but the list just has a few ideas. :-( I guess I just feel like I will still feel hungry with the list of food they gave me.

Oh, you'll be totally miserable on the selections, no matter what they are.  It's all just going to suck, and if you're trying to kick a caffeine habit too, get ready for total misery.  

The good news is that it's only for 3 days, and you'll likely never have to do anything like that again,

They had me on shakes by Champion (Ultramet), they are very thick so they fill you up very well and taste great!. Best of luck!
