Something to help Dry Facial Skin

So, my facial skin is the driest it's been in my life.  Part from the surgery (I'm 6mo post op as of yesterday) and part from this weather!

I have been using 2 things on my face.  Both are oils, they are really really helping!  Extra Virgin Olive Oil from California and this Macadamia Nut Oil SEE HERE , I put some in the palm of my hand, then press gently into my face. On days when I don't wear any makeup, I even put it on my eyelids as well as all the way up under my eyes.  It's helping this dryness.  I do it multiple times during the day.  I even press it over my makeup at work (kind of gives a glow).  It's inexpensive as well.

I like the California Olive Oil because it "feels" lighter to touch.  I think it is absorbed more.

Just wanted to share!

Very nice!  Also make sure you're getting plenty of fat and water to heal from the inside-out

Have you tried using a humidifier (warm steam) in your house?  Those little portable ones are probably around $10 at Walmart.

I have asthma so a humidifier isn't possible for me.  It is a great idea!  My BFF and her hubby have one right by there bed.

I'm good with fluids .. fat is hard for me though.  I have started eating an avocado a day w/some pink salt.  Love it!
