Superabsorber?

When a person calls themselves a superabsorber, what do they mean?

I've heard it from both someone who continues to lose and then someone who hasn't lost hardly anything.

I define a super absorber as someone who's body holds onto every calorie with a kung-fu-death-grip (that was me, btw) despite any dieting efforts.  The DS fixed that for me.

Perhaps the opposite was a Super MALabsorber

Well in my opinion, if they had the DS and they are not losing wt. , then there DS was not done right.

To me a superabsorber is someone who stays fat no matter what they do.  Someone who doesn't eat as much as those around them who are normal and is still heavy.  Very weight loss resistant.

I misunderstood and thought the superabsorber had the DS but I was what you are describing before my DS.  I am a mal absorber now and a proud one at that.

Hello there, Carla, how have you been?

I am seriously been busy living.  I completed first year med school but my heart has issue that are genetic, made worse by the time I was morbidly obese but has nothing to do with the DS.  The DS saved my butt. 

We are remodeling our home from Craigslist lol.  Yes "free" and low cost.  So far I have brought in over $20,000.00 of building materials in for $2500 and that was not all at one time.  I search for what we need, if not free, I wheel and deal. 

My husband has taken a single wide tin can trailer on the beach and turned it into a beautiful mansion double wide.  We are in process of gutting out inside.  We removed cabinets out of a 2.5 million dollar home on Boca Rotan (private island of very rich ppl) and because we did it without tearing up her kitchen, she gave them all to us for free. 

So to sum it up, I have been so busy that I do not have much time to play on computer.  My craigslist is on my c-phone set to alert me to items I am looking for.  Its awesome cause we seriously are so poor its ridiculous.

How is school with you?  Realy miss talking with you.

I went from being a super-absorber with my unaltered anatomy, to a super *mal* absorber with the DS.

Perhaps I'm just genetically predisposed to extremes!

I'm on Creon 24000 units and protein shakes to supplement my food  for life, in addition to eating like there's no tomorrow!

Nevertheless, I don't want anyone talking to me about revision!

Creon never made me gain, and  it does help with nutrient absorption from both food and vites.
