Late but 3 years post op and still going
That is a good question, I know ppl on here that continued to loose wt 4-5 years out. Me on the other hand, stabilized or leveled out whatever you want to call it at 2 years post-op but I am happy there.
I would like to loose about 30 more pounds but my doctors here tell me all I have to do is do a body lift and slight upper arm lift and I would be small enough. I do not look fat at all and I am what I say is medium build. I wear 12-14 size and I am good with that. I always dreamed of size 10 but now I think that might be too skinny for me and my body shape.
With all considered, for the first time in my life "I LIKE ME" and that is great and that what its all about. I have been in college studying medicine (wanted to be NP) but I have hereditary heart issues that make working a extreme difficulty for me so I withdrew last semester to re-think what I want to do. And with that said, I am still a scholar student with 3.8 GPA.
I can do pretty much anything but lets face it, normal aging brings little pain with it that we all cannot escape but still if I still weighed 415 pounds I would not be able to do anything again but in all reality would be dead by now.
