Adding Sleep Apnea to the list

Sleep study came back. Turns out I had 37 episodes of apnea 10 seconds or longer with sats at 84. Now they consider this MILD sleep apnea but it is still something to add to the insurance to help with approval. Not that I am happy about it but every little thing helps. My med stuff was submitted to BCBS yesterday. I was told to call back next Wednesday to check on the outcome. OMG my nerves. PRAY FOR MY APPROVAL PLEASE!

My BMI is 56. I am going for revision of Band to DS. I have DM, mild HTN, hypothyroid, Very High bad cholesterol, DDD, DJD, two bad knees, sleep apnea. Today they called and said they now need a TSH and an H&P. It has been six months since I had my TSH checked. I pray they say yes.
I have BCBS of NC. Any information would be great!
My BMI is 51 with type 2 and sleep apnea and I was approved I also have BCBS Direct. I checked 7 days after the office submitted it and was told it was approved. I know all types of insurance are different but give them a call and ask if a determination has been made. Keeping fingers crossed that you get approved.
