Thank you DS for warming me up
I left home today for a 3 hour drive that I do every Tuesday. It has been so warm (in the upper 70s) that I forgot that I have to run the AC full blast in my car to keep my dog cool. I was FREEZING!!!
I stopped at a Dollar General. They have popped up everywhere here in Alabama. Do you have them where you live? They are like a tiny Walmart. I was looking for any kind of jacket or something to warm up in. They had nothing at all in the adult sizes but I noticed nice plain blue sweatshirt hoodies in little kid sizes. Guess what? A kids XL fits me perfectly!!
So I was happy and warm the rest of the day! Thanks to my wonderful DS that works like a charm if you follow the rules.

We've had Dollar Generals in the Midwest for a long time. I live in a pretty rural area of northern Ohio, and they are one of the few stores that you'll find in each of the tiny little towns. We actually stopped at one the other night when I dropped off my son at his grandma's house. We forgot the diaper bag at home so he had no clothes, diapers, sippy cups, etc. The nearest Walmart is 25 miles. But they have a Dollar General in that little town of 2000 people lol. Stopped and got everything for him! They are so nice to have nearby!
Congrats for fitting in the children's size!!!! The weather in Ohio has been crazy too! 2 days ago I was slipping and sliding while driving in a snow/sleet mix. Today we had a thunderstorm in January!! So weird!

Check thrift stores. I've been in kids' sizes for 2 yrs and I've gotten some "trendy-spendy" stuff for $1 !
St Vincent is cheaper in these parts than Goodwill, and I like to support the indepents, animal rescue, domestic violence, etc.
So, if I manage to make it back into grown up lady sizes, you want a full wardrobe of kids' stuff? LOL
