Bites:
M1: Mcdonals's steak/egg/ cheese burrito. Ate only the tortilla that contained the filling and unfolded that to keep it to a bare minimum.

S: pumpkin seeds (couple handfuls throughout the day)
M2: No idea... Against a wall here. Out of money and no income so gotta wing it for now since I ran out of protein powder yesterday. Maybe some tuna or something until I'm able to buy protein powder. Life's ups and down's.

B- 3 sausage links, greek yogurt with a drizzle of honey and a about a TBS of Kashi for crunch

S- cashews

L- 1/2 Turkey, bacon, cheese, lettuce, tomato, mayo in a low-carb wrap

S- pickles wrapped in ham and cream cheese (my new obsession!) and probably more cashews.

D- Salad with taco meat, cheese, tomato, and ranch dressing

I bought some pre-made Adkins shakes last night to try.  They only have 15 grams of protein, but since I'm really having a hard time with any shake I figured I'd give them a go!  It's so weird because I tolerate all food well....but I still get very quesy just looking at the shakes.  It's in my head vs. an intolerance.  So I have my fingers crossed that I can stomach one of these as a late night snack later.

Looks like some great choices.  I used Atkins shakes early out until I could find the right protein powder. It does take time.

Hi b1751--

i am just amazed at what you are able to eat!!!!! I had surgery with Dr. kemmeter also on 1/8/13-- so only about 3 weeks after you and I can hardly eat anything. Your stuff sounds so good! I'm not even getting in my protein shakes or all of my fluids, but I am trying. So you give me hope!!!!!  Thankfully I'm not ill like last week.

Take care---

Kelly

I am amazed by what I can eat too!!!  However, I have a feeling it's going to backfire a few years from now.  I went from only being able to eat about 1 egg at 4 weeks out, to being able to eat a small meal 2 weeks later!

I see Dr. Kemmeter Wednesday, and I'm going to ask him about my sleeve size.  I'm thinking it was a bit generous :(

I think the fact that I tolerate everything is a combination of luck (or bad luck...we'll see), and the fact that I have a 120cm common channel.  The only thing that bothers me is milk...and that's only if I drink a whole glass of it.  And even then I just get some gas.  It actually makes things harder because I can eat carbs with no bad effects, and I can eat alot.  So while the food tastes good, I do feel like I'm still on a diet.  And I am scared to death that I will regain down the road because of it.

By the way, I REALLY turned a corner at 4 weeks out.  Until then, I had lots of trouble eating and drinking too.  Give it time :)
