Yes indeedy. Take iron every morning with my vit C. Just feeling down I guess... When should I get my first set of post op labs done?

Many surgeons have you do them every 3 months the first year and if all is well at 1 year, once a year.  I can get mine done every 6 months and insurance hasn't balked, so that's what I do.

Jensch 20lbs in ~6 weeks is good going.  Cut yourself some slack - you're now what's termed a 'lightweight' so there's less to lose. I don't know your weight, but as a percentage 20lbs is probably really good.  You're just used to hearing numbers from people who start at 400+ lbs and you can't compare (plus us 2 parters can eat more from earlier out so yes it's slower, but I got great protein numbers in my first labs thanks to that IMO).

Just keep hanging on and you have permission to say the same back to me when I start complaining as I totally understand where you're coming from.  ((Hugs)).

Bites:

B: protein shake with 3 strawberries

S: nuts

L 2 small slices quesada with sour cream and salsa

S: protein bar

D: 1 hamburger patty with onions and mushrooms and gravy

S: protein shake(a little sugarless jello for flavoring) yuk

Didn't get enough supper and the shake was not what I felt like so I feel very unsatisfied

Well, at least you picked a shake at the end of the day.  Keep experimenting to get a shake the way you can enjoy it.

Volleyball tournament is winding down for the day. DGD has to ref the last game then we'll all go out to dinner.

Cheeseburger with 1/2 bun, few fries

I was pretty beat. Fell into bed about 10. Overall did pretty well except hitting my new boobie with a door and now have new bruises to add to the color scheme of black, blue, red, green and yellow.

The tournament finishes up this evening then the drive home and back to work tomorrow.

Eating is tough this weekend!!
