DS and taking Synthroid

I had a total thyroidectomy 2 years ago due to having thyroid cancer. I take Synthroid everyday. When I was in the hospital, they wouldn't give me Synthroid. When I got home, I honestly just forgot to take it for about 2 weeks. In that 2 weeks, I lost weight. Now that I'm taking it everyday again, I haven't lost a pound! Anyone else have this problem?

one of the lovely side effects of levothyroxin and synthroid is weight gain unfortunately. I take levothyroxine. I must add in here I do not yet have the DS. I have no idea if it would make a difference or not but I do know for the non-dser in SOME People it has been known to cause weight gain. 

I take 200 mcg of Synthroid everyday and I have not seen it impede my weight loss....and 200 mcg is a massive dose.  I am now down 34 lbs since my surgery on 12/18/12.  How has your eating been?  I had a 'stall' for about 8 days, but once I started eating more fat, my weight has continued to drop.  I also get in all my fluids and about 80-90 grams of protein a day.
