Oooooh STALL!!!
For the past 2 weeks the scale has bounced up and down the same 2-4 lbs... At 14 weeks post-op I wasn't ready to hit a stall yet! But I know it happens... So I'm not focusing on the scale. I'm working on the things I can control. Making sure I get my vitamins, protein-protein-protein, watch carbs and keep them low, and drink lots of water!!!
Do yall have any suggestions for breaking out of a stall?
According to Fitbit, this is my total for the day yesterday. This is a pretty average day for me.
Daily Totals
Calories: 1208 Fat: 80.4 g Fiber:1.2 g Carbs:36.8 g Protein: 96.8 g Water: 87 fl oz Daily Calorie Composition: 12% from carbs, 57% from fat and 31% from protein.
I had a Krispy Kreme when I hit a stall. It seemed to kick my body in the ass and start losing again after a big poo. Also, it's time to try on smaller clothes. I used stalls for my cue to do that so it was a happy time.

I told my husband your suggestion for the krispy kreme indulgence while in a stall and he said that if I did that he was moving out for a week. LOL! Gluten and me are NOT friends anymore.
I did go to lane bryant to find some smaller jeans since mine are falling off... I've gone from a tight 26/28 to a 22 in 14 weeks (current weight 297ish). Even at my lowest weight (236), I never fit in anything smaller than a 20. So I'm definitely dropping some major inches. My boss laughed at me the other day saying that I was swimming in my clothes. I'm just too cheap to buy smaller ones right now. =)
Find the good thrift and consignment stores in the ritzy side of town. I get all of my designer jeans for $5 or less. Come armed with plenty of time, patience and a Tide pen. You'll be amazed at what ladies cast away.

Did a doctor in Louisiana do your surgery? If so, which one and how did you like them?
I went to see Garth Davis in Houston. He and his staff are awesome! Absolutely no complaints. Check DSfacts.com for vetted DS surgeons. You are farther southeast from me. I believe there's a doctor on the list in Mobile, AL. Most people have to travel for their DS's. There's only one that does them in Louisiana that I know of. Dr. Uyen Chu in Lafayette. I think she's REALLY new with the DS. Not sure how many she's done.
I'm not gonna let myself get discouraged... I know it's all part of the process. I have to go back and look at my blog on here, but I think around this time I did the same thing with the sleeve. Every day, I'm just going to keep re-evaluating what I'm eating and make sure carbs aren't sneaking in anywhere. The scale will move eventually!
YES!!! WE CAN AND WE WILL DO THIS!!!!
I'm right where you are - except a couple weeks earlier. I posted yesterday because I showed a 4-5 pound weight gain from two weeks ago. As a matter of fact, I was so beside myself that after I weighed in at my regular doctor and saw the scale was up, I made a trip to my bariatric doctor to see what their scale said. Same damn thing!! I got some good advice that I'm probably not eating enough and to up my protein and water (and reduce carbs as much as possible) - so I'm going to try that. Everyone has stalls, but they are so devastating when they happen to you, you are doing the right things, and have no idea what to do to kick start things. I do kind of like the advice about the Krispy Kreme - although I'm sure it would make me sick, LOL
I also got my labs done yesterday for my 3 months, and everything looked great - at least for my regular doctor. My B-12 was a little over the maximum level though. I meet with the bariatric doctor next week, so we'll see if he wants me to do anything other than my tums and multivitamins. Maybe I had an awesome amount stored up and I won't show any deficiencies for awhile yet.
