Any of you not lose any weight? If you are a year out or more?

I've been around for 5 years and I don't know of any that post here, FB, Proboards or Yahoo that didn't lose weight. There are a few that didn't make it to goal but they all lost weight.

Major,
I think it was to clarify in my brain that this is actually going to happen to me. That this weight will come off:/ thank you!!)

Never heard of anyone who didn't loose weight.  Some stopped loosing by starting to eat carbs too soon.  Some regained for same reason.  But anyone who sticks to the plan will loose and probably loose to their goal or below.

Never heard of anyone not losing, except  some people with the lapband.    I have had a few friends that did not make not to goal and some have gained back 15-20 lbs. Even those lost 100+.

Also some with a revision from one wls to a DS tend to lose slower and less weight overall than a DS newbie.

You will likely be more concerned about losing too much than not enough!

I've never heard of anyone not losing at all, although I think plenty of people don't lose down to their goal weights and have to revise their expectations. Everyone's body is different in how it reacts to the surgery and how they lose. As for me personally, I lost to 20 pounds below my goal weight and have maintained here for the past year. (I'm 2 1/2 years out, so definitely not a vet...)

according to my surgeon, I would probably loose 80% - I lost about 94%.  I'll take that!

DS is the best tool around! I have lost weight and made it to goal. Started to panic when I got close to goal in the beginning and started eating too many carbs, but have found that if I keep my carb intake down, I can now lose weight fairly easily. I had to allow my brain to let me get to goal, but my DS has not failed me and I don't know anyone who hasn't lost weight with this surgery. :)
