You're looking good.
Keep in mind that you will have a little bounce back of weight in time. I had about 4-5 pounds of it a about 2 1/2 years out. But I've been stable now for the last year or so.
You are not to thin in the face you look normal. So try not to worry about it and just go with the flow. Your body will pretty much regulate itself.

Everyone I have ever met or talked to had at least a 10 lb rebound. And then a lot of us had a reGAIN after that. So I was advised and now I advise people to let happen what happens and not try to stop loosing unless you get really too thin or sick.
Make sure you are getting your protein and vites and fluids and enjoy!

Also, your body does like to re-distribute over time, the vets who are further out can attest to that!!
You look FABULOUS!!!!!!!!!!!! Take the mind a long time to catch up to the body, too!!!!

When I wanted to slow down my weight loss, I started eating more carbs. I added toast or oatmeal in the morning, and perhaps enjoyed some of the bun on my burger...little changes like that. You can also add more fruit, too.

Hi
We are pretty close. Surgery weight was 306 height 5' 10. I went all the way down to 135lbs, that was pretty scary because it is getting close to being underweight. I now currently reside at 142lbs. Even when I went down to 135lbs I did not alter my eating because I knew that I was still adjusting body wise. I was 135lbs and had been there for a while but during that time my body adjusted and I lost 2 more sizes but no weight. After this my weight slowly crept back up to 142lbs and my body looked normal, not diseased.
My suggestion, pay close attention to you clothes and how they fit, your body will probably still be changing and you might even lose some more weight but really don't start worrying until you are actually considered underweight.
Remember this is a YMMV surgery.
Betty.

you are really early out on your journey, intestinal adaptation usually happens by 24 months or so, before this period is the greatest weight loss, expect to go down even a little below normal, you can add carbs if you are dropping down too low, but your body will do what it is supposed to, adjust to the trauma the surgery caused and absorb more once you have attained adaptation you will know how much you can eat, and what proportion of foods you can eat and maintain.....
