I need to hear from anyone who's know about dr David greenbaum especially vets plea

I been reading and came across 2 or 3 post of people saying they undergo surgery with him to do DS and have waking up with other type of surgery. Please anyone is this true ? Is he a good doctor or not ? I will appreciated your advices and opinion thank you.

 

He's great I had a revision from lapband to DS in October 2011...... Hes very experienced and in doing my research best in New Jersey I consider. He's very upfront and honest with his patients. Love him!!!

The patients who have not had the DS they wanted were revision patients, particularly from gastric bypass. This is a very difficult operation that is not always possible to do safely, depending on what is found. For someone looking for a virgin DS, it is very unlikely that Dr. Greenbaum wouldn't be able to complete your surgery unless there is something else about you that we don't know about.

this will be my first bariatric surgery, thanks for the info!!! i read a lot and was a bit worry about that.

Hi-- I have Dr. G for my doctor and this will be my first wls, went I went to him for the first time he gave me the pros and cons of all the surgeries and told me the DS would be best for me. I went to one of the support meetings and all his patients told me how great he was and how great this surgery is. He actually called me the day before Christmas to tell me that he needed to have surgery and all the surgeries were being pushed back I thought that was really nice of him since I know most doctors would have either not called or had one of their staff call. I was supposed to have surgery next month but it is now put of to April hopefully late March depending on how he recovers. Hope this helps.

Yes ma'am very much I think my mind is playing with me the waiting just to much.

I had a VBG to DS with Dr. G back in 2008 and he is the absolute best. I had to travel from NC to NJ to have him do my surgery, but I clicked with him, and there was no changing my mind. I am now going back to have a hernia repair and some plastics with him within a couple of months. The one thing I love about Dr. G is he calls his patients, he communicates well and answers questions, and is a straight shooter.

Thank you so much!! I think the waiting is killing me I know his good. Just a bit skeptical cause don't get alone with one of his staff member, but thank you hope to get this over with! Am Anxious to star with my new life.

 

I too will be having hernia repair with Dr. Greenbaum, the best thing I love about him is he is on e-mail and answers you right away...rare to find a doc. who will do that.  Did you have your surgery yet Stephanie?  How are you doing?
