The thing to remember though is the DS while amazing is just a tool. The miracle is you, for sticking to the DS lifestyle. Don't mistake the tool for the miracle cause that can lead to defeatist behavior thinking it doesn't matter what you eat which can lead to weight regain. Not as much etc... But the miracle is you and DS is your tool.

I definitely understand that the DS is a tool. Before I allowed myself to have surgery I worked on my mind first so that I would be prepared for a lifestyle change. I even started implemening those changes before surgery. I've tried and failed so many times to lose weight in the past. Now that Ive found something that works, I cant help but claim it as my miracle.
