have a question about overie removal

Hi All

I was in the hospital this past weekend with pains in my lower stomach and found out I had an infection in one of my overies they found a cyst also. The OBGYN said maybe when I have the surgery in April (keeping fingers crossed) that they might take a peek and see if it has to be removed. Has anybody ever heard of this being done? Also found out my Gall Bladder has stones in it but since it wasn't bothering me and it didn't seem to have anything to do with the pain they were going to leave it alone since it will be removed at the DS. One more question has anybody ever heard of a doctor not doing the surgery because the patients A1C was to high?

It was a long weekend and figured out I have to bring something to put on the bed at the hospital so it might be comfy, and as much as I loved the pain meds I don't like the pain it cases with the gas stuck inside:(.
