Pills - Whole or Crushed?

I swallowed pills the day I was home.  I could only do one at a time for a bit, but worked myself up.

Bull. I was taking fullsized vitamin pills a week after surgery. You'll have a fullyfunctional stomach, so there's no stoma for pills to get stuck in, and your esophagus won't be affected at all. I suspect you've been given RNY 'rules'.

I had a hernia repair at the time of my surgery and I question if I could get a large pill down so I haven't tried it yet (18 days out). I almost died when I crushed a flagyl (it was awful tasting trust me) so now I just break them in half.
