(((Becky)))  Keep hydrated and keep popping your vitamins. I think you'll be ok for a couple of weeks without protein but not the best choice. What happens if you drink herbal tea? I'm wondering if you slowly add things back with a little flavor if you could work up to drinking some milk or eating a soft egg or soft cheese.  Keep us posted and I hope you feel better soon. Let us know what the doc says.

Hi beemer sorry to hear about your troubles, if you can drink coffee try adding some beneprotein powder to it. It is unflavored and does not change the taste much.  At least its some protein - I can't stand protein shakes so I add beneprotein in soups etc. . .

It is best to add it when the coffee cools for a few minutes or it clumps.  You can add it to mashed potatoes, stews, anything as long as it isn't too hot. Hope this helps and things get better for you soon.  Barb

Sorry to hear things are rough now. Hang in there...even bad times pass. If I feel I can't get enough protien I turn to cheese... if you can't do cheese, soup is really soothing. A nice cup of egg drop soup can be very comforting. Sending smiles your way.

If your drinking coffee, try adding a bit of protein powder in there.  I am using chocolate and it tastes like a hot chocolate with a hint of coffee.  (you don't have to add a whole scoop if that is too much, go for half a scoop at a time.  Every little bit helps.  Hang in there.

Remember...tough times don't last, tough people do.  Don't let the food/protein intake be something else that is adding to your stress level.  Just drink your water, take your vitamins, and eat when you feel like you can.  Other than that, just focus on healing and balancing emotionally.  No matter how hard it it, it will get better.  Get a massage if you can, spend some time in prayer (or meditation), or find someone to talk to.  Sending prayers your way.

it's times like this that are the only times I will chug down a protein drink.  I keep some in the cupboard just for days like that.

Here is my "proven" thought.. I'm 35 weeks Prego and went for a pretty long spell .. A few months of not eating basically anything.. If I tried it came back up.. I kept most of vits down.. Labs came back decent! So I'm thinking here you are probably ok for a little until you get yourself balanced.. If one can grow a human on little nutrients for awhile and be fine.... I'm betting you will be:) I know from when I started the DS journey almost 2 years ago I have seen your posts and even read your advice! You got this!

Hi Becky,

You may want to try meditation and give yourself hints of what protein you like and want to try.  If not a protein bullet - not the best of protein, but it's only 3 oz.  Close your nose and eyes and chug it. 

Unjury Protein is unflavored or they have the chicken flavor and make egg drop soup.  I just make my egg white protein shakes, add peanut butter, banana, dark chocolate and caramel flavoring and drink it down.  It's not the best, but it's better than straight out of the container. 

I could try a long distance Reiki session if you want.
