Surgery scheduled Jan 23

now I have so many questions, nervous and excited. Tons of questions not many answers. Thinking of this surgery as a new birth for me, looking for some support and friends for the journey

I'm no veteran but I am an alumni of DS surgery and their are plenty of Vet's here so ask away. And congrats on the impending surgery.

Good luck to you, I had the DS on Sept 13th 2012, as of today I have lost 96 pounds...I feel wonderful, it was the best decision I ever made..I was nervous as well.....but im sure everyone is about any surgery....but, for me it was a breeze.....

The Vets here are very helpful & knowledgable.  Tons of old threads to read through & bookmark for reference, too.

My surgery is scheduled for the 16th of Jan. Yes, I am both excited and nervous as well but I am trying to keep my eye on the prize. I really want to discover who I am under those layers of fat I put on myself for all these years. It really will be a new birth, won't it? Best of luck to you!
