The OP has a DS not a RNY...therefore she still has her stomach, not a pouch.

To the OP...being hungry isn't an issue...what you eat can be. Focus on protein first. Make sure you are hydrated as being dehydrated can act like hunger.

I'm just curious, which surgery did you have? I noticed you mentioned a pouch on your second post which DS'ers do not have

The steroids definitely stimulate the appetite.  I suggest concentrating on protein when you graze and you should be fine.  If you're like me, it has to be something that's grab-and-go, so cut some cheese into cubes that you can pop into your mouth randomly and keep other easy items to keep from over-carbing.

If you've hit a brick wall, become a Marine. Improvise, Adapt, Overcome. HooYah!

Being hungry ain't the problem. What you eat may be. More hunger, eat more protein. Steer clear of simple carbs and Move... Drink plenty of water and you'll find yourself Bustin thru that brick wall.

Now get er done Marine!

Cheese, jerky, nuts were all my go-to foods.  I always had a bag of jerky and nuts in my purse to munch on between my 5-6 meals a day.  Those weren't full blown meals, but 2-3 oz of protein at a time.
