Weightloss Mode

B: Greek yogurt, 2 sausage patties and about .5 an oz of ham

S: 2 T peanut butter

L: over  a 3 hour period, 6 oz of pork butt and 1.5 cup of japanese cabbage salad

D: 4 oz of ham and 2 slices of pepperjack cheese

Vites: 2 batches left

Fluid:50 oz

Exercites: None

I did not get in enough protein yesterday or today. Here is the situation, my husband has been physically abusive in the past. The last time he hit me was 1.5 years ago. He has refused to go to counseling during that time. I was getting prepared to leave him in a month or so. I haven't worked in the last 1.5 years. I have been home schooling the kids. So I started looking for a job last week. Well, yesterday he threatened me and I had enough. I will be filing tomorrow. I only slept 3 hours last night. I am exhausted. I know I must take care of myself or I won't be able to take care of the kids. So back to protein it is tomorrow. On a good note I didn't eat carbs either so that it is a growth point.

Hate to hear you are going through this.  Never had much use for men partly because of this reason. Be safe.

I've started using Lift to tracking my goals but think I'll start posting in here too.

  • 50 gram coffee protein shake (coffee, protein powder, heavy cream and ice)
  • Healthy bowl of homemade split pea and ham soup (YUM!)
  • Cup of coffee with 1/2 cup heavy cream (love that stuff)
  • Slice of homemade bread and butter...lots of butter, oh how I love thee!
  • KFC chicken (probably a breast)

After that .. who knows but it will, I am honest enough to say it will include a very large slice of chocolate bundt cake with ganache. :p

I have four rounds of vitamins a day and those will all be in as well including all my calcium.

I'm going to comment on my own post .. hah!

I got a new scale for Christmas and it weighs me very differently than my old scale. It's a bit traumatizing actually. I've been using this old scale for years and I kept my weight where It needed to be according to it but it turns out about 5 pounds off--so I actually weight about 5 pounds more than I realized. Yikes!

I've been working to get my weight back down to where I thought it was. It's not a HUGE deal but it's funny to get back to that mental space where you freak out about a number on the scale. It's also a great wake up call about how slippery a slope our weight can be.

This time of year it's really focused on weight and health and it's as good a time as any to re-evaluate where we are in our lives and take steps to correct. It's like the saying that it's a thousand micro moves to steer a ship in a "straight" line. We have to make constant adjustments to keep moving forward.

Like most people, I get caught up in dieting as well. The best part though .. diets work really well for us now! Especially those focused on low-carbs. ;)

Anyway ... just some thoughts.

With the cake and bread? :)

I'm pretty careful overall with my eating and I've already dropped most of the extra weight even with my goodies. I'm now back to where I thought I was before.
