Lucy, honey, stalls are perfectly normal.  Sometimes they seem to last forever.  Toss the damn scale.  You're going to do fine.

It is ok for the weight to stall for a few weeks but rather there maybe a change in the "inches" you lose. As everyone has suggested give up. There's always hope and remember that light at the end of the tunnel.

Increase your protein to 100 or more.  That should help you decrease your carbs to under 50 or fewer.  Post what you eat on the daily bites and vites thread.  That will REALLY help.  Also drink a gallon of water a day.  Sorry you are loosing so slowly.  How long is your common channel?

Hi Lucy, i stayed at the same weight for a week but my clothes told a different story then my weight actually went up, i was going crazy, then i lost 3 pounds in one day, this surgery can sometimes send you on a wild roller coaster ride, just hang in there things will get better. Oh yeah i did increase my protein and i increased my walking from 20 min to 30 or 40 min. that helped as well.

In it to win it !!!

Lucy, My stall started at about 18 days, then I gained about 8 pounds back. in the 21 days since my stall started, I lost the 8 pounds plus about 5-6 more for a total of 23 pounds down so far. I don't think that's too far from where you are if you broke it down to a daily avg.

I agree with most people, make sure you have your min water (64oz.) in, increase your protein to a minimum of 100g/day. otherwise get used to the journey because this isn't a diet you get to quit in 3 months or a year, you have it for life. Even if you don't lose all  your EW in a year, it may take 2 but there isn't anything else in the world that's going to produce the results for you that your surgery will. Smile, pull up a seat and read the archives! YOU'RE GOING TO ROCK THIS!!!

I did the math, I'm losing right at 1/2 a pound a day, guess what, do the math, you are losing at the exact same rate as me!

I take a set of photos every 30 days and I take body measurements every week. seeing those numbers moving (and they always do) helps me keep moving forward. I also fit into all my clothes better and theres all kinds of things I can do so much more easily, like standing up from the couch without my knees killing me. I can walk up stairs without pain...you have a lot to look forward too!
