Poo Pourri

I'm sure the Veteran Ds'ers know about this product ; however I wanted to share with the new people. Since the surgery I'm sure my family wanted to build me an out house. I just purchased Poo Pourri air fresher and so it works great to cover the smell.

Believe it or not - many Hallmark stores carry this.  Now, I can testify that it works much better with "sinkers" than it does for "floaters".  It's an improvement, but not total elimination (nothing is, really)

Its worth a try! Thanks Val, I'll run up to the local hallmark store. My hubby had DS and he eats lots of sugar so has super stinky bm's. Ill slip it in his potty and see how good it works!!!! If it makes a diff on his! It'll help anyone!

I have the purse spray, in my bathroom & bedroom.  It's the answer as far as I'm concerned.  I think that the blue "Heavenly" scent seems to work a little better than the others.  Deja Poo then Call of the Wild.  These 3 work the best for me! 

 

Just ordered the purse size of this from Amazon yesterday.  Never hurts to be prepared!

The best bathroom spray I've found (not one that goes in the toilet itself) is Dove Go Fresh Body Spray. Strange but true. I was using it as my perfume since I like the scents and realized that my main poo room wasn't smelling anymore and it was because of the spray. I started using it exclusively and find that it works far better than anything else I've tried.

The in toilet products are nice for out in public but like Val said, works better on certain types of poo (of which I rarely have). You can also spray a shot of the Dove spray in the toilet before you sit and that helps too.

Thing I like about these sprays is that they just smell like you sprayed on perfume and not some cloying air freshener which is obvious "ooh I made a stinky!" smell. :)

 

I agree...perfumey smell would be ideal if it works, that's awesome!  Actually it makes total sense if it has a baby powder scent.  I read that's a good room freshener/carpet freshener if you are having guests and need a quick fix. Sprinkle some around.

I just bought poopourri today so looking forward to testing it.  Val I like your signature line, that's cute!
