GOD I WAS APPROVED APPROVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

my lord i got approved!! am so happy now i most wait until Dr. Greembaum gets better. that is going to kill me. i would love to talk to  someone in my same shoes for some support, this is my only one last change to a better me after a tummy tuck 2 lipos and a breast reduction,and so many diets exercise etc, my hubby is a big support but has never been in my situation,   

am 25  weight is 270 my height is 5,5 BMI 44.9  mother of a baby boy that;s 1 months.

after i came to this forum and saw all the post and learn about DS decided that was the wls surgery i need it.   

Congratulations! I'm a Dr. G patient post-op there are a lot of Dr. G patients here waiting for him to get better too. Be patient time will fly by.

Yes much much better, im 5 weeks post op still have a jp drain in but doing great barely any leakage and my infection is gone. The 9th I get the drain out (thats the first day dr. G is back in his office) cant wait. Down 40 lbs altogether.

I know u are feeling so excited, its awesome when u know u have that approval. I seen u post u have a one month old. This mayb be a good thing if ur surgery gets scheduled for a couple of months from now. (though I know once approved, we want it like immediately) this time may help with preparing, its not easy immediately after, I couldnt imagine with an infant. My kiddies r 10 and 12. (pretty much self sufficient)

Congratulations, Dr. G is my doctor also and am hoping to have my surgery in April. I'm 41 BMI of 52/53 just waiting for the approval to come threw hopefully next week then it is just a waiting game. When I went into see Dr. G the first time I was really leaning towards having a band and he told me it wouldn't work for me and explained all the other options and the DS seemed like it would work the best for me. My hubby is my big support along with my Daughter (she is 5). Like you this is my last chance at a better me, tried others diets etc., and this seems like it will be the best. 

YES, HI DEAR I HAVE BEEN FOLLOW YOUR POST AS WELL, THE WAITING IS THE WORSE PART I MY OPINION, I HAD TO WAIT FOR THE INSURANCE TO APPROVED ME NOW, WAIT FOR THE DR TO GET BETTER IS HARD. BUT AM HAPPY YOU HAVE A DAY OR AND IDEA WHEN WILL YOUR SURGERY BE. I CALL TINA TODAY AFTER I FOUND OUT I WAS APPROVED AND SHE JUST DIDN'T SAY ANYTHING ABOUT A DAY OR A MONTH SHE JUST SAID I MUST WAIT, I FEEL FOR SOME REASON SHE DOESN'T' LIKE ME. I KNOW THE WAY SHE TALK TO ME IT BOTHERS ME BUT I JUST TAKE IT BECAUSE I WANT THIS SURGERY BAD.

QUESTION IS TINA NICE TO YOU?

I hate waiting but for this I will, I have some other things to keep me occupied till April but I would really have liked to have the surgery in Feb but the fates had other plans.I have never had a problem with Tina but I mostly email her, I know she was on vacation last week and is more then likely  up to her eye balls returning calls and everything. The best way to get ahold of her is by email though.
